2026 - Cockleshell's Centenary Year!

Unique wooden dayboat designed and built in Guernsey in 1926.

Cockleshell was sailed across the English Channel to the east coast of England in 1959, and since 1989 she has been a regular competitor in the River Hamble racing fleet. Owned and maintained by Jonty and Vicki Sherwill, in 2013 & 2014 she won her class at Cowes Classics Week, then inspired the creation of the Hamble Classics Regatta in 2016 in which she has competed each year since.
